TWED is an indigenous Company that was incorporated on the 14th of October 2005 in Uganda. It specializes in offering solutions of very high quality and first-class property development that enhances productivity in modern working environments.
The company was formed by experienced, hardworking, and highly committed professionals in the field of real estate and property development ranging between ten and thirty years. Experience includes:
- Market study and research
- Environmental impact assessment and audits
- Project planning, architectural designs.
- Projects construction and management.
- Mobilization of financial facilitation.
- Marketing and cost controls
- Property development solutions and many others related to real estate and property development.
The company derives its experience particularly from its main founder Dr. Dan Twebaze who brings a wealth of experience in managing and coordinating multimillion-dollar urban infrastructure projects that saw rejuvenation of urban settlements in Kampala.
In addition, he was a player in equity capital markets in particular he owned 15% of sim4U which brought along with it rich experience in the management of medium-sized enterprises.
TWED started as a closely held family business deriving its experience from its founder who developed low-cost housing estates as far back as 1993. He has had and flipped over a series of other successful real estate projects creating immense value using efficient modes of delivery.
In 2010, we started a journey of full corporatization and professionalization of the company. A five-member board was appointed and instituted on the 26th of August 2014 which governs the Company.
TWED has evolved into one of the most Dynamic growing real estate development companies in Uganda with a net worth estimated at USD 60 million. We provide solutions to the real estate needs of some of the largest international and national corporations, Parastatals, and non-governmental and public institutions in Uganda.
